At the heart of Chinese Classical Dance lies Shen Yun—a movement system in which breath, energy, and form are continuously integrated. Rather than isolating the body into separate parts, Shen Yun trains the dancer to move as a connected whole, where intention initiates motion, and the body follows in continuous flow. This practice cultivates not only technical precision, but also an embodied sense of rhythm, presence, and expressive depth.
This class is designed for students with little or no prior ballet experience. Students will learn basic ballet positions, posture, and alignment while developing coordination, flexibility, and balance. Through structured exercises at the barre and in the center, students begin to build strength, body control, and musical awareness. This class provides a supportive and disciplined environment, helping students establish a strong foundation for future ballet and dance training.
Our Contemporary Dance class focuses on developing strength, flexibility, coordination, and expressive movement. Through a combination of technique training, floor work, and across-the-floor exercises, students learn how to move with control, fluidity, and musicality. This class also encourages creativity and personal expression, helping students explore different movement qualities and build confidence in their own artistic voice. Suitable for all levels, it supports both technical growth and performance ability in a supportive and structured environment.
This course focuses on flexibility development using Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) techniques. Through guided contract–relax and hold–relax methods, dancers safely increase the range of motion while maintaining muscular control and joint stability.
